Maintaining Hierarchical Tree Navigation
The structure of the project is defined by the system administrator or the project manager and can be modified as needed. The user-friendly Expo-Net interface is based on the Windows File Explorer. Project team members can view folders and files based on their authorization: confidential, read only, download, upload.
Expo-Net archives files automatically. It also stores previous versions with complete documentation of the activities carried out on the file (viewing, downloading, user’s level of authorization). The system also allows linking relevant objects to files (cross-references, fonts), all of which can be viewed and downloaded together. Expo-Net sends alerts by fax, email, and SMS to the authorized users concerning new files uploaded to the system. Efficient sharing of information, updating stakeholders 24/7, and improved processes result in considerable cost savings. At the end of the project, the project manager and the entrepreneur receive complete documentation, with hard-copy backup, of all the information accumulated in Expo-Net.
Expo-Net incorporates a feature for flexible recording of meeting minutes Project managers can enter data based on predefined permissions. System tools include automatic generation of Word documents or PDF output without the need for Office software. Users can send immediate personal alerts to all partners by fax, email, or SMS to update them whenever a new summary document is uploaded. Expo-Net provides a central point of information sharing, allowing coordination between project partners, subject to regulatory requirements and organizational policies and practices. This ensures that processes that do not meet the standards set by the project manager cannot take place.
Text & cativities management
The one-of-a-kind Expo-Net interface enables the project manager and the authorized team members to assign tasks to users. Personal reminders sent to users ensure the completion of unfinished tasks. The system follows up on the rate of completion of each task, providing comprehensive control and producing progress reports on tasks and processes for the project manager. The system maintains a contractors’ database, allowing the management of contractor’s employees and equipment, as well as the management of all employees on site.
Project managers assign the tasks, while contractors and consultants report on task implementation through Expo-Net. The approval system allows project managers to approve or reject tasks that have been carried out. The advanced alert system assists project managers in tracking the completion of tasks, and proactively warns users about problems that may arise as a result of delays in task performance. Uniformity of processes ensures control, efficiency, and cost savings
Generation and viewing graphic reports
Project members can view reports and data on Expo-Net based on their level of authorized access. The reports are produced by the project manager or the system administrator, who determine the segmentation of the data and its display format.
The system can produce several types of reports, including advanced visual executive summaries, user activity, task status, detailed reports on orders and purchasing according to different segmentations, including accurate financial calculations. The data can be exported in Excel format.
Producing graphic reports in Expo-Net does not require external support or knowledge of programming. We have extensive experience in project management and can help you configure the reports to meet your specialized needs. The system can produce reports automatically and send and distribute them to given mailing lists at specified times (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
The database is designed to avoid duplication and missing information. The dissemination of information is based on specified levels of authorization and assisted by the alert management system
Viewing CAD & Microsoft Office files
ExpoView, the unique viewing tool of Expo-Net, allows users to view CAD files from within Expo-Net. The system compresses the files to one-tenth of their original size, providing quick access from any computer or mobile device, and without requiring high download rates or the installation of specific programs. Information is compressed without damage or loss of layers, solid hatch, or other data. The system allows transferring unlimited CAD files. ExpoView incorporates a RedLine feature and an authorization system, in which comments added to the drawing are displayed only to the addressees determined by the author of the file or by the user who distributes it.
ExpoView also enables all project team members to view Office files and project materials, without the need to install the respective software. It provides access to all the drawings and detailed engineering documents of the project, resulting in significant savings of time as well as of software and hardware resources
GANTT Management tasks related activities
The revolutionary Expo-Net schedule and milestone management system combines the power of critical-path scheduling with web-based collaborative capabilities. The system is compatible with MS Project and can both export files to Project and manage Project files. The built-in calendar incorporates the project timetable and syncs up with the users’ schedule in Outlook. This interface enables viewing files, messages, tasks, and notifications in real time.
Scheduling is shared to allow immediate updating of team members. The alert system instantaneously sends information to consultants and contractors. Close follow-up of the Gantt activity ensures that no critical tasks are omitted. Various reports can be produced to reflect the progress of processes and the completion of tasks. Furthermore, issues that may impact the project schedule are raised and alerts are sent a long time in advance.
Advanced GIS System for project mapping
Project data can be viewed in its entirely on Expo-Net, including pictures, simulations, maps, and satellite images. Expo-Net also provides an automated application for measuring areas and integrating environmental information. The GIS application offers a marketing tool for effortlessly publishing information on Google Maps and Google Earth. This feature helps produce reports and executive summaries, and it publishes promotional materials for the potential project clients. The tool allows the display of simulations and can demonstrate project progress over time.
Management and control of orders for photocopy and printing services
Expo-Net provides a top-notch tool for directly sending orders to photocopying and printing services. The tool automatically measures the areas of the file, preventing user errors, allowing accurate control, and producing detailed billing reports for these services throughout the project. The orders and files are sent to a specific platform of the photocopying and printing services. At the same time, a message concerning the new order is sent by email and fax.
The system closely follows up on orders sent to these services and helps maintain the budget for this item. Our experience shows that considerable savings were realized in this area in all projects through the use of the Expo-Net system, which completely eliminates duplicate orders and unnecessary multiple photocopies.
Management of quantity list, budgets and Purchase
Managing bids on a single platform simplifies the process of document distribution and communication. All bidders can view the documents, submit their bids, and receive relevant information in real time.
The process is transparent to the bidders and allows complete standardization in accessing the information. This allows significantly reducing costs and completing bids much faster than in the past. When the bidding process is complete, the quantity list is integrated within the project budget, allowing easy supervision of implementation.
Managing the purchasing processes with Expo-Net ensures complete control over project expenditures, from the planning stage to the conclusion of the project. It provides optimal flexibility throughout the project and detailed budget reports, including a variety of presentations and options. The system follows actual costs and produces a forecast of future expenses based on a predefined work plan, considering project schedule, milestones, and future processes. This feature allows full control of cash flow.
Fax / SMS / Mail Real time mails & alerts
The built-in Expo-Net mailing system is intended to allow project team members to communicate with each other. It offers a familiar interface for incoming and outgoing mail, document folders, and drafts. It also enables the system administrator or project manager to monitor user messages. The mailing system contains an advanced feature for sending notifications and updates in a wide range of formats, including fax, SMS, and email. The home page of each project is displayed on a notice board that features general messages from the system administrator. The platform is also used for sending alerts, distributing reminders to contractors and consultants, and sending schedule updates and reports to predefined mailing lists.
Expo-Net integrates project information originating in the enterprise, as well as in financial, engineering, ERP, and GIS programs. The advanced API allows the organization to sync all relevant information, including billing orders, budget, Gantt charts, maps, and drawings. Data mining is conducted in the background, on the enterprise databases, simplifying work processes and access to materials for users. The information is automatically updated to display changes in real time, without the need to make adjustments or to execute update processes.
Integration of information into the Organization’s Systems
Project members can easily view files, messages, tasks, and notifications in real time. The system also knows how to work with Skype and Google Maps. An advanced search feature allows easy access to any information.
